In a world where narratives are constantly shaped by external forces, the act of writing emerges as a powerful tool for your own liberation from the forces around you (and within you). Writing, for your own joy and healing has been something new in my life. It has been something that has sparked curiosity, self-awareness, and the creative spirit that I have been trying to tap into for a while. As I move more willingly into a writing practice, I find the hardest resistance is the unlearning of technical and ego driven words.
Aging is a natural and inevitable part of life's journey. As the years pass, our bodies change, and our experiences evolve. Yet, how we approach this process can profoundly impact our well-being.
I have noticed that the 40s+ are indeed an inflection point in life, often marked by major life events for yourself and those around you. Although I have found much deeper self-awareness and a sense of confidence rooted in the wealth of experiences that I have accumulated over the years, this decade seems to bring with it a unique set of challenges or perhaps for the first time, I am waking up to the challenges all around.
